The Sun is Sleeping
Yesterday we had a rainy, cloudy day. We went out to run a few errands and Summer was quite concerned with the lack of sunshine. She asked me where the sun went, and instead of answering, I asked her where she thought it went. She thought for a moment and said "The sun went to sleep. He's taking a nap." We then talked about the clouds and how the sun was behind the clouds. About an hour later, she asked me the same question, and again, I wanted to know what she thought. This time she said, "Oh, he's having some food. He's hungry." Apparently our discussion about clouds didn't stick, but I thought her ideas of what the sun does all day were pretty cute.
On another note, here are a few pictures we took a few days ago. I just wanted some practice and I had a willing model. I think some of them turned out pretty good and I learned a few things along the way.
I love this picture of Summer-it is her concentration look. She was in the process of telling me to listen because she could hear an airplane.

I can only hope my kids will be as cute as yours!
