10 Months
Ellen is 10 months old. Two more months and my baby will be a year old. Slow down, Ellen!
She had an appointment on Aug 27th, and here are her stats:
Weight: 15 lbs, 7 oz, 5th percentile
Length: 26 inches, 1st percentile
Head Circumference: 16.75 inches, 11th percentile
Here are a few of her developments:
1. She has two teeth on the bottom.
2. She can go up stairs. She thinks it's very fun to climb all the way to the top, scoot close to the edge, and wait for me to come pull her down. I pull her down backwards, by her feet, so she'll learn how to go down backwards. She thinks it's great fun.
3. She can now eat small pieces of food without gagging every time.
4. She can pull herself up to a standing position on some pieces of furniture, like the railing or the stairs.
5. She is a little vacuum cleaner-eating anything she finds on the floor.
6. She doesn't sit still because she is too busy exploring. Our days of a cuddling baby are gone.
The next several pictures are evidence of her inability to hold still. It's a good thing that all angles of her are cute!

She's so adorable! Certain postures and expressions remind me of Talea's. Our girls are growing up too fast!
