Osborne Reunion
Immediately following our trip to St. George we headed up to Duck Creek, Utah (above Cedar City) for the Osborne Family reunion. We had a blast! Reunion activities included:
Trip to Mammoth Caves
Diamond Hunt in the Sand
Rocket Launching
Taking apart old stereos
Games
Birthday Parties
Wading in the Creek
Family History Games
Nail Painting
Testimony Meeting
Eating lots of good food
Glow stSck Games
Individual Spotlights
Very little sleep
Lots of Talking
A tour of the DUP museum in Beaver
Family History event at the Beaver cemetery
What a lot of activities for 2 1/2 days! We know how to party hard and had to do some recovering when we got home. We missed the events in Beaver (since we were already in St. George). It would have been something I enjoyed and would have been very educational to spend some time in the cemetery with my Uncle Rex and Aunt Taeh.
Almost everyone was able to be there. We were missing a few and were sad they were not there. However, we had people come from Texas, Nebraska, Washington State, California, and Utah. Grandma, who is 92, also made the trip. We really had a great time. I love my family reunions. I always look forward to them-the chance to catch up with everyone and have fun as a family.
