9 Months
Ellen is 9 months old! She has now been out longer than she was in. She is still our happy, sweet baby. Here are a few developments:
1. She can crawl! July 20th she decided was a good day to learn to do it. She's getting pretty good and has realized that she can follow me from room to room. I'm still not used to it and am surprised each time I find her somewhere totally different from where I left her.
2. She eats a lot of baby food. Basically, she is a champion eater.
3. Her first tooth came in (actually, two days after hitting 9 months).
4. She has pulled up to almost standing using the steps to help her (she just did this yesterday for the first time). She's not yet started using furniture to do it.
5. Ellen and Summer have started to have disputes over toys.
6. She weighed approximately 14.5 lbs on her 9 month birthday. This weight was determined using my bathroom scale, so it may not be the most accurate.
7. Just a couple of nights ago we dropped her late night feeding. So far she has been doing great-sleeping for about 12 hours straight.

ReplyDeleteLove those cute girls! That splash pad in Highland is right across the highway from my new house! Tell me when you're going there and I'll come visit you! I took 8 grandkids there today.
