Griggs Family Reunion
In July (a little late for this post...) we had a Griggs Family Reunion in Colorado. It was an awesome few days filled with lots of food, fun, talking, and playing. We slept all 29 of us in my parents house with just the 3 bathrooms-it was tight and crazy, but fun.
We did a Cousin Carnival and the kids played all sorts of fun-including fishing, a squirt gun gallery, a balloon pop, cotton candy, snow cones, a photo booth, and prizes. Summer dearly loved the cotton candy and was like a little baby bird eating it from Anders' hand. It was pretty cute! Summer also got a leopard stuffed animal as a prize that has become one of her favorites.
We also had some major thunderstorms-providing lots of lightening, hail, and water. The kids had a great time playing in the sandbox after the storms.
We also purchased some blow up human hamster balls on a spur of the moment purchase. They were a lot of fun!
We also celebrated Ben and Anders' birthdays. They are just a couple of days apart, so we had some cake and ice cream.
Overall, it was a great weekend. It was fun to see my brothers and their families who live far away from us.
