The Last Four Months
Since April, I feel like we have been going non-stop (and having lots of fun), but I will be grateful for the consistency that fall will bring. We've done some awesome things, done a fair amount of travelling, and spent lots of time with family! Here is a list of many of the awesome things we have done since the beginning of April (in no particular order and mostly for my own records):
1. Two week trip to California
2. One week trip to Colorado for the mission homecoming of my sister, Sarah
3. A trip to St. George and Cedar City for my Grandma's 90th birthday
4. Anders' sister, Katrina, and her family stayed with us twice-once in May and once in July
5. Trip to St. George for Anders' brothers mission farewell
6. Anders' parents and their kids stayed with us for a week while Porter entered the MTC
7. My parents stayed with us in April over Conference weekend
8. 4th of July party at our house for the Lymans
9. I hosted a baby shower
10. Kickball-we have been playing on an adult kickball team on Wednesday evenings since June. We had our last game last night.
11. My parents came into town briefly in June when bringing my sister back to BYU
12. Osborne family reunion in southern utah
13. We celebrated my birthday
14. We celebrated Anders birthday
15. Fathers Day
16. Mothers Day
17. Baby blessing for a cousin
18. Callings-Anders and I now both have two callings and they seem to have picked up this summer. One I hadn't done for several months, due to the lack of a choir director, but that has begun again and Anders started teaching Elders' Quorum this summer as well.
19. Book group for me-this is supposed to be monthly, but we did take a hiatus in July because we couldn't get everyone's schedules to coordinate
And to finish off the summer, here are a few more things can be added to the list:
1. Summer's birthday next week
2. My parents will be staying with us for a little while
3. Trip to Panguitch Lake to enjoy the cabin and close it for the winter
What a great summer!
