10 Months
Summer has reached the double digits (in months)! She is showing more and more personality and we are having a blast with her in our family.
At 10 months:
-She laughs at more and more things. She now finds all sorts of things funny.
-She doesn't always just stare at strangers, she will now interact with them some.
-She has five teeth-2 on bottom and three on top.
-We are continuing to find all sorts of foods that she likes. She no longer gags on pieces of food I give her, so we have branched out a lot in what she can eat. She prefers the "real" stuff over baby food most of the time. I've given up on feeding her baby cereal and we try other things instead. She now loves cheerios, bread, spaghetti, peas, chicken, and avocado in addition to bananas, peaches, and watermelon.
-She has had her first treats, which were a banana Slurpee and birthday cake, both of which she thoroughly enjoyed. Trips to Grandma and Grandpa's are a great place to be introduced to sugar! :)
-For about a week, Summer had a really cheesy grin that she would show us each time she got excited.
-She is just beginning to stand on her own. She'll let go of whatever she is holding onto and stand for a brief moment before falling.
-After conquering the stairs, she has mostly left them alone. We're still working on going down them, but since she leaves them alone, we've not spent tons of time learning how to go down.
-She likes to pat things with her hands, especially Anders' head
More attempts at getting size pictures. She is so wiggly, it's hard to get a good one.
Enjoying her tickles-and patting her Daddy's head.
Showing off her bottom teeth.
Enjoying her first cheerios-she loves them!
Summer likes to drive!
