Life Lately
Here are several pictures that have been taken in the last couple of months. I'm not the greatest at documenting things with photos, although I really like it when I do. I'm trying to be a little better at it. We'll see how that goes.
Summer and I enjoying a Sunday afternoon nap.
Tummy Time!
Summer looks tiny when she is laying in our big bed.
Happy Halloween!
Hanging out with Daddy.
Sometimes we tie her up-she kinda likes it. Actually, she really likes it. She still loves to be swaddled, although sometimes she prefers it with a hand out and available for sucking on.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Merry Christmas! I thought both of these were pretty cute-so I put them both up. She looks so happy in the first and has such a funny, yet very typical, expression in the second.
Thanks to my awesome brother-in-law Jared who took these pictures. He is a great photographer and just snapped these in their living room one evening.
Family photo: I decided one afternoon that we needed a real family picture, so I dressed everyone in what I wanted, took us to a spot close to our house, and set up the tripod and self timer. You only need one good one from a session, and that's all we got. Pretty good for a self portrait though, don't you think? Also, you can see that I cut my hair. I cut off about 10 inches, and it was long enough to donate-which was pretty cool. I really like it short and wish I had done it sooner...
Trip to the zoo in Colorado Springs: Anders had a work trip the beginning of November, so Summer and I flew out to Colorado to spend the week with my parents. Tamara kept us busy and we had a great time. One of our outings was a trip to the zoo. Summer didn't care too much for the giraffes, but I needed proof that she was there.
Summer and the porcupines-the only animals she did not sleep through (except the giraffes).
While in Colorado, my mom and I decided to take some hand and foot prints of Summer. We got some pretty good foot prints, but not much in the way of hand prints. This is the aftermath-an ink stained baby. The ink proved a little tricky to remove, but we finally figured out how to get most of it off. She had little ink remains on her toes for quite a while...
Love the family picture! Pretty amazing for a self-portrait!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love all these adorable pics of Summer--especially the ones your BIL took! I hate that I'm missing out on so much of her life and that she has no idea who I am. :( Also, I love your haircut and am glad you're enjoying it too (since I just did that myself, with the same result). Good family portrait too!
