Here are some pictures of the recent past and not so recent past.....

August 24, 2010-Right after we got engaged!
Hiking to the hotpots up Diamond Fork Canyon this fall. We have done this a couple of times and each time we have met some...lets just say...... interesting people. Always an adventure. I also think it is a beautiful, yet fairly easy, hike. It is also always fun to soak in natural hot tub in the middle of the forest and come our smelling like sulfer!
We like the library.... or at least we did until I found out that there is no public library in our new home. If we want to use one of the neighboring ones, we have to pay a $90 fee each year. I was a little upset when I found this out. My husbands solution? A kindle. I am now the proud owner of a Kindle (he already had one), and I love it! I have always loved the aesthetic appeal of a book and I thought that I would miss that. However, the kindle is light, easy to use, great to transport, and feels just like reading a book. It is so nice to always have several books at my fingertips and have the choice of what I want to read.

Sleigh ride soon after we got married.
Temple Square.
Our first Christmas Tree.
We made it to a BYU basketball game this year-yea! I haven't been to a football game or a basketball game in at least a year and I forgot how much I love them. I used to go to them all the time when I had an all-sports pass (the BYU student sport pass). Throughout my time at BYU I attended a lot of games-to the point where we used to attend multiple sporting events in one day if it was possible. I love the sound and the energy of a crowd-the cheering, the yelling, and the excitement. I guess a lot of that comes from my competitive nature when it comes to sports. I love singing the BYU fight song and hanging out with my friends as we cheer on our team. I love BYU sports!
Yup. That's Jimmer. He's my hero. He is also the hero of every single one of my 7th and 9th grade male students. He is at the top of most every food chain, the name of every creature created, and the epitome of a predator in the eyes of my students (and they tell me so...).
This was Anders' Valentine's present-a new truck! Here he is working on it a little bit-something I think he really enjoys.
This is one of the greatest things about my husband-he cooks. He makes me dinner on a regular basis and it is always good.
