New Years

For New Years we took a quick trip to St. George. We were supposed to go down for Thanksgiving, but due to illnesses, we never made it, so it was nice to finally get there. New Year's Eve we enjoyed that tranditional Lyman dinner of cheese, crackers, and pizza. Anders made us some of his delicious pizza that was enjoyed by all. We celebrated midnight at 7 pm so all the little kids could go to bed. We played some games, did some chatting, and headed for bed. We flipped off the light about two minutes before midnight and decided we could stay awake for two more minutes, and we did. Barely. We must be getting old.

The next day was spent playing games, lunch at the local mongolian grill, heading to the park, and watching "Shaun the Sheep." It felt so nice to be outside. The mid 40 degree and sunny weather was so pleasant compared to our cold, smoggy, snowy, teen's.

Overall, we had an enjoyable time. Summer had a fabulous time bossing around Anders' younger siblings. They happily complied and she was happy to be in charge and get so much attention.
