Thanksgiving
We spent Thanksgiving in Colorado this year with my family. By chance, everyone came home this year, so we basically had a family reunion. It was totally chaotic and a ton of fun! I didn't take a lot of photos-there was too much eating and too many other cameras to do that. Here are the few photos I did catch with my phone and the stats from the week.
Griggs Family Thanksgiving Stats:
1. 29 people: 14 children, 2 teenagers, and 13 adults
2. 3 full days
3. 1 house
4. 3 bathrooms
5. 1 large turkey and 2(?) turkey breasts
6. The equivalent of 9 pies
7. 7 half gallons of ice cream
8. 3 costco size bags of M&M's
9. Hundreds of paper plates, bowls, cups, and silverware
10. 4 trips outside to un-clog the septic tank (thanks Dad!)
11. 1 overflowed toilet (thanks for fixing it Mike and Dad!)
12. 1 game of football and a trip to the park
13. 1 game of the Candy Bar Game (a Thanksgiving Tradition)
14. 15 lbs of mashed potatoes
15. 1 successful hike
16. 1 successful family picture (might have been the most painless one yet...)
17. 1 decorated Christmas tree
18. 4 late nights
19. 5 large batches of cookies
20. Several games of Egyptian Rummy, the dice game, and Liar
21. 12 galllons of milk
22. Countless memories made
Summer on the plane-not too sure she liked it.

The home for the boy pack-we were a little short on space, so they got to sleep in the garage.
Summer's first Thanksgiving Dinner that she can appreciate. She actually slept while we ate and she had dinner by herself. It was fabulous for Anders and I!
Yay for sweet potatoes!
